Banana Time!
For breakfast this morning, I gave Keito some bread and some cut banana. He loved banana! In order to have my breakfast too, I offered him a fork to "explore" his breakfast.. hehe

What's next?
This is my next "mission". Potty training!
Had started him 2 weeks on this BUT..... still I cant get him to poo inside the toilet bowl.
So conclusion.. he still poo in his daiper! *Faint*

Finally!
Many babies had started holding their own milk bottles at 6months plus but mine had finally "willing" to hold his at 1 year 2months!
Why is that so? Few weeks ago, I was out with 2 mummies with toddlers of the same age. And his new friend, Keigo(yes his name is one letter different from Keito and he also borned in May, such a coincidence!) was holding his milk bottle. I asked Keito to look and I told him he is a big boy now and he should hold his bottle himself. And you know what, in the nite, he hold it himself!
Ya.. I finally understand what one of my friend, Jo say... "when they are ready, they will do it"
No point stressing on something they are not ready.
See, he can hold so well! But just he refused to hold for those months.. lazy boy

He loved slides and for sure, every lesson he will be there whether to be indoor or outdoor! And his father even thinking to buy him a slide at home, gosh! he must be kidding(he had get a "NO" answer from me, of coz.. hehe)
PIPS playgroup updates!

I am back! :P Sorry to keep all of you waiting. As usual, very lazy and very busy to update blog.
Ok, let's go back to the topic.. Keito's playgroup!
The summer program had ended 2weeks ago, overall Keito's performance was good.. hehe
He is friendly and always smilely to everyone he see. Even the teacher, Ms Celia adore him. She always tell me" wow, Keito have a good smile, and he is always saying Hi to me!"
Well, I think Keito had enjoyed himself in the playgroup and we are considering to sign up a monthly playgroup for him.

So funny!

Jo and I were talking about Keito when he suddenly start laughing. He was so funny as he seem to understand that we were talking about him(Topic: his AH PEI pose, long story.. will tell next time haha).

Recent Happenings
Hi all, I am back for blogging.
Been really busy and lazy after came back from Singapore so pls pardon me for those who miss my Keito very much.
These are the few recent happenings
1)Keito can walk!
Since we were back in Singapore, Keito's grandpa had been faithfully "training" him to walk. For sure, every evening he would bring Keito down for a walk at the void deck. Keito loved it, whenever he saw his grandpa, his face would just light up with joy. And yes, after a month of "training" in Singapore, when he was back in HKG, he is able to walk by himself! Hooray, my baby is now official a toddler! Thanks for my family back in Singapore during our stay there. Keito had indeed enjoyed his stay.
2)I have signed up his 1st playgroup(the summer program)
Pictures are taken from our apartment, yes it's just downstair, so convenient, right?
The rectangle area is where the playschool is.
A nice playground downstair too.
As a 1st time mummy, I just got so excited when I enrolled Keito for his 1st playgroup. Sound silly but this was how I felt.
Had signed up him for a 6 lesson(2 lesson per week, Tue and Thurs for 3 weeks, 1.5hours) summer program starting from 29JUL2008 at PIPS(Parkview International Pre-School).
These are the programs:-
WEEK 1 Beat the Heat(Summer Fun)
WEEK 2 Funny Clowns(Circus)
WEEK 3 Yummy Yum Yum(Food)
Really sound fun and I really hope Keito will enjoy his play there. If this summer program goes well, we shall consider to continue his playgroup there.
Will update more when he started his playgroup. Stay tune.
3)Cherly in town(28JUN08~05JUL08)
this long time friend of mine whom I don't see for nearly for 2years came to HKG. I was so happy to meet up with her again. She together with her husband to be simply like Keito! And Keito like them too!

Taking his 1st step!
Went to Vivo city for some shopping today since GSS is now on. Bought a pair of Addidas shoes for Keito, got it at 30% discount. A great deal..:) Wear it for him immediately and let him take his 1st step and he did it quite well..:P

Keito is 1 year old!
How time flies, my precious turn 1 today!
Though we do not have a celebration for him at home today, we did a small traditional 1st bday while we were in Japan.
Keito carrying a 1.8kg rice cake, he cant even move... hehe
After carrying for a min or so, stepped on the rice cake
Some update on Keito milestones.
~Able to stand with support and cruise well
~Able to stand w/o support for a min or so
~Will wave bye bye when ask to
~Will clap his hand when ask to
~Able to drink from straw(Am so happy about this, had been training for a long long time)
(These are all that I can think of now... will update again)

Self feeding
Few weeks ago, Keito have manage to self feed himself with those small biscuits and bread.
Bought him a high chair from ikea but he can't stay still in it, kept trying to stand up on it.*faint :P

Ying ying's trip to HKG 3rd Apr~7th Apr
During my 3rd sister trip to HKG, Keito just loved her company. He will kept going to her, want her to carry and play with him.
When my sis went back in the morning, Keito actually looked for her in the room! And after that, he started his crankiness for the next few days.... he probably missed the company of hers.:P

My first pair of shoes
KEITO: MY FIRST PAIR OF SHOES
Got this pair of shoes for Keito at a baby fair in Shatin(N.T). It cost me about HK$160(S$30).
At first,Keito dislike it very much but he is ok now. Every time I put on for him, he will stare at it with curiosity..haha
But guess what next, he put the shoes in his mouth. Yes, everything that he can get hold of will all go to his mouth.
Well, the next stage... waiting for him to start walking.:)
